BIG Mentoring is a flexible programme to support NEET young people aged from 16 to under 19 who live in the Southampton area and have complex needs. We offer 1-1 support combined with small group activity where appropriate, includes non-financial incentives (e.g. phone top ups, high street shopping vouchers, cinema tickets) to recognise progress and financial support to remove barriers.

ü  A robust Initial assessment and needs analysis to agree how best to support the young person.

ü  The young person will receive individual and continuous mentor support to encourage continued engagement.

ü  Support to progress to volunteering, apprenticeship, a college course, or employment.
